EV-Box is manufacturer of charging pole stations and wall mounting charge stations for electric vehicles.
The EV-Box charging stations have a nice design and are suitable for public and private areas. It's made out of Bay-Blend (polycarbonate). The product is manufactured and assembled in The Netherlands with the latest state of the art equipment in a fully automated process. The EV-Box has a maximum capacity to charge at 2x 32A-400V. It has the standard EV-socket (Mennekes), which will be locked with a servomotor while in use. To start and stop the charging process you will only need a RFID/NFC card or by using your mobile phone. User identification is established through data communication and switches the power on/off. For easy use with Electric Scooters and Bicycles we developed a CEEplus contactor with build in switch.
In may 2010 the production and assembling of the EV-Box products started. The first products are already delivered and installed on many locations.

We have a pole model and a wall mounting model. They can be installed for outdoor or indoor use and public or private areas.

EV-Box is a registered company since 2009. The founders have many years of experience in setting up companies and launching new products to the market.
Early 2009 when it became clear that the electric vehicles will come to the market we started to develop a charging pole and wall mounting station for electric vehicles. Important starting points for the development team was that mass production had to be easy and the costprice has to be low. The inside electronics had to be designed in line of what will be common in 2012 and it need to be expandable with several (payment/identification) modules. The design, development, manufacturing and assembling are all in The Netherlands.
The EV-Box is made from the best quality polycarbonate and is fully recyclable. The product is manufactured and assembled in The Netherlands with the latest state of the art equipment.

EV-Box has a charging pole and a wall mounting station to charge your electric vehicle.
EV-Box is available as a wall model and as pole model. Basically the model is the same. A single unit is useable as wall model. Due to the unique design you can make a pole model out of two single models by simply putting them back-to-back. Then you will see that they are connecting nice and smoothly to each other. The EV-Box consist out of 2 parts, a frame and a cover. On the frame all electronics and socket can be installed. There is also a LED-ring around the socket for communicating the status to the user. The cover fits perfectly and waterproof to the frame and is secured with only two screws for easy installation and service. The screws are hidden on the bottomside, so the public will not see them.
Many companies like Retailers, Hotels, Restaurants, Convention Centers, Energy companies and business owners like to have the EV-Box custom made to their own needs. So for them it is possible to buy the EV-Box as an empty shell with their own logo and color. They can install their own electronics inside. Our experts are also available to help them configure and assemble the chargestation according their own needs. There are many options available in configuring and installing the pole, a wall mounting arm or a single wall mounting charging unit. For every situation we already have a solution available.

We are working with distributors for a region/country and dealers who are selling the EV-Box products in their local area or to segmented groups of customers.
If your company has enough technical knowledge available there is also a possibility to build your own brand out of the EV-Box housing. It is possible to buy only the empty frame and cover parts with a standard installation kit. Then you have to assemble your own technical parts and sockets inside the housing. This way you can develop your own brand and take the benefits of service and maintenance contracts. Or you can setup your own network with charging stations and start exploring them. You can also have your own logo moulded on the cover of the product and have the product in any color you like.
